Going Home

Monday we went to Manila and spent the day sight seeing

And early Tuesday Morning we were at the airport heading home.
We had a great mission and made many eternal friends who really feel like family. We worked hard and went home exhausted but satisfied that we had done all that was ask of us. Thanks for the opportunity!!

Last Sunday

Our last Sunday we attended church in San Clemente and said our good bys to our dear friends there. This is the Narne family

Birbira Farewell Party

Birbira Branch had a farewell party for us. After songs and games they each took a turn saying good by

It was very emotional for us to hear from all these dear friends. This is President Pascual

Then they took pictures. This is Grace and her two children

One of he hardest to say good by to was Lisa who has come to our house twice every week and washed our clothes. She has been so sweet and we love her. Here she is with her daughter.
As we got down to the last couple of week we had many visitors that came to say good by and we visited some special ones we wanted to be sure to say good by to. This is the RS sisters in Branch 1

The Ramboa Family plus Grace

And the Quintos Family

All the branch missionaries from Branch 1 and 4 came for a FHE

The Sisters sang God Be With You Til We Meet Again in Tagalog

Lorraine and Ferlynne

Sisters Anderson and Krix doing the dishes

We went to see Leolito

President Fabros' family

Narne House

The Narne Family were forced to move from their home so they built this house

Men from the branch came many days to help. There was lots of bamboo trees on the property so they were used for the construction

President Gonzales allowed them to build their house on his property

When they had to move in it was far from finished

As the weeks went by it began to take shape

They got some chickens and pigs

And a well

This is what it looked like the last time we saw it, still a lot of work to do. The power was hooked up after we left.

The Narne family

He had a whole army and fences  set up, all made from sticks.

Youth Conference and Mission Reunion

This year the youth conference was held at a resort in Bataan. We were ask to give a seminar on dating!

Our dear friend, President Reyes

One of the dorms for girls

President and Sister Martino held a mission reunion for the Filipino missionaries who will not be able to attend regular mission reunions in the US.

Of course they played games

We got to see Sister Lalata and Sister Evangelista again

They wanted to do a service project so they painted this wall near the mission home

After the reunion these girls came and stayed with us while they visited former friends and contacts in Camiling.
