Floods and Primary Program

We had been warned that during the rainy season we would experience flooding and sure enough that prediction came true. This is the street in front of our house. It was almost knee high at one point.

This was our back yard that same day. Behind the trees and wire fence is a creek which overflowed its banks.

By noon Sister Tauiliili decided she would venture out. She is quite a tall girl and you can see how high it was on her.

There are a couple of pretty large rivers close by us and they have been almost empty. Elder Moser could not see any way they could fill and overflow but it only took a couple of days of steady rain and it happened. There were typhoons near by and obviously that fed our rivers. The most amazing part is a week later they are almost empty again.

The district Primary had a program and each branch did a dance and sang a song, they were sooo cute!

At the end each child was given a balloon which they were all supposed to release at the same time but as you can imagine there was more than one who refused to let go of their balloon.

Goodby balloons. Love the little children here!

  1. We would love some rain back in Utah. Everything is drying up. We are thinking of you two.
